A mother is kidnapped.

She wakes up in a hot place. Looking around she doesn’t understand where she is. Beings are talking all around her, none of them look human, though some have human qualities. She seemed to be in a run down market of sorts. As she looked around her surroundings she noticed things she recognized and others she had no idea what they were. There were other humans around her all looking as scared as she was sure she did. After some analyzing she realized she was at an auction about to be sold. Where was she? How did she get there? Where did humans stand in the food chain of life in this place? How would she get back home to her children? What would happen to her while she was in this strange place?
